Change is the only law that never changes.
The body shifts every second quietly, without asking us.
We walk toward death without knowing,
while death walks toward us—
without a sound.
We know this is our only life,
brief as a passing shadow.
What use is a soft mattress,
a cosy bed,
When does the earth become our final resting place?
Life feels empty
when it leaves no trace behind.
Yet,
it becomes worth living
when shared—
with compassion,
with intention,
with a touch of kindness that outlives us.
